Prices for the Ford B-MAX have been announced ahead of its arrival in September.
The entry-level version starts at £12,995 - £400 less than the
Fiesta - while top-of-the-range Titanium models start from £17,595.
It comes in three trim levels. Studio is available with the firm's
89bhp 1.4-litre Duratec engine and a five-speed manual gearbox. Standard
equipment includes tyre-pressure monitors, ESP and front, side, knee
and curtain airbags.
Mid-level Zetec cars are offered with a choice of three petrol
engines, starting with the ultra-efficient new 99bhp 1.0-litre EcoBoost.
An all-new 1.5-litre diesel engine is also available.
Zetec trim adds 15-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights
and front fog-lights. On the inside, there's air-conditioning, a
leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearknob, heated windscreen,
Bluetooth connectivity and DAB radio.
Titanium is available with the three petrol engines – again,
starting with a more powerful 118bhp version of the efficient 1.0-litre
three-cylinder turbo EcoBoost engine, as well as the 94bhp 1.6-litre
diesel as used in the Fiesta.
It gets gloss grille surrounds, 16-inch alloys, automatic
headlights and rain-sensing wipers, heated seats, a start button,
climate control and cruise control.
Every Ford B-MAX comes with body-coloured bumpers, flat-folding
rear seats and remote central locking. There's also a choice of 11
colours across the range.
The Ford B-MAX is available to order now, with deliveries starting in September.
