Skoda Citigo prices have been announced, and it's going to be the most affordable version of the VW/SEAT/Skoda city car trio.
Starting at £7,630 for the three-door manual, the Citigo undercuts the Seat Mii by £215 and the entry-level up! by £365.
The entry-level Citigo S is fitted with the 54bhp version of the
1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, and a five-speed manual gearbox.
It comes with 14-inch steel wheels, head and thorax airbags, a CD
player and Auxiliary input. The five-door version is priced from £7,980.
Next is the Citigo SE, which is the best-value pick of the range.
It has body-coloured mirrors and door handles, remote central locking,
electric front windows and air-conditioning. Safety is also improved
with ESP standard on the SE. It starts from £8,530 for the three-door,
with the five-door at £8,880.
The Elegance is the flagship of the Citigo range, and comes as
standard with the firm’s GreenTec package, which is a £350-£410 option
on other trim levels. This includes stop/start, regenerative braking,
lower rolling resistance tyres and a reduced ride height. These tweaks
mean the Elegance modelreturns 68.9mpg and emissions of 96g/km.
The Elegance also comes with 14-inch alloy wheels, front foglamps,
electric and heated mirrors, heated front seats and a leather trimmed
steering wheel. It also comes with a portable touchscreen sat-nav unit
that also acts as a trip computer.
It’s the only model to be offered with the more powerful 74PS
version of the 1.0-litre, which adds another £390 to the list price.
Automatic versions add between £205-565 to the price, with the five-door
a £350 premium over the three-door.
The Skoda Citigo goes in sale in June.
